WomenWork and DG Empowerment Hub Partner to Provide Virtual Assistant Training for Women in Kenya
WomenWork Network, in partnership with DG Empowerment Hub, is proud to announce the launch of a comprehensive Virtual Assistant Training Program for women in Kenya. This initiative aims to empower women in the digital economy by providing them with the necessary skills and training to succeed as virtual assistants.
In today’s fast-paced digital world, the demand for virtual assistants is on the rise. Many businesses and entrepreneurs are turning to virtual assistants to help them with tasks such as administrative work, customer service, social media management, and more. By equipping women with the skills to excel in this field, we are not only providing them with valuable employment opportunities but also helping them to achieve financial independence and economic empowerment.
The Virtual Assistant Training Program covers a wide range of topics, including time management, communication skills, digital marketing, and technical skills needed to thrive in the gig economy. Participants will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and support to help them develop the confidence and expertise needed to succeed as virtual assistants.
The launch of Cohort 1 of the Virtual Assistant Program has already attracted a significant number of applications, with 28 participants currently undergoing training. The program’s impact is already being felt, with participants expressing excitement about the opportunities that lie ahead.
By bridging the gender digital divide and promoting in-demand digital skills among women in Kenya, we believe that we can make a significant impact on economic growth and prosperity in our community. Through this program, we aim to increase employability and income opportunities for women, ultimately creating a more equitable and inclusive economy.
We are thrilled to see the positive impact that this training will have on empowering women in the gig economy and look forward to witnessing the success of our participants as they embark on their journey toward professional advancement and economic self-sufficiency. Together, we can create a brighter future for women in Kenya and beyond.
